  Im shocked by the person that said she doesnt advocate for breastfeeding mamas. She gave me so much advice on breastfeeding and is a HUGE supporter of it, however, if your child is not gaining very well then she will absolutely suggest to supplement a small portion. There are unfortunately so many lactation consultants that are too concerned about giving breastmilk only, that the cognitive development from being underfed is grossly ignored. Dr valerie DOES do cogitive checks at all the normal milestones and has been doing that for over 3 years. I can't say enough about how much i love julia too. She is the best!
